Amusement Parks in New Delhi

New Delhi is one city that has the power to lure anybody on the earth. Being one of the metropolitan cities of India, Delhi has it all which could entice residents as well as the tourists coming to the city.

In order to provide fun, Delhi government has created many amusement parks. Located in different regions of Delhi these amusement parks cater to all age groups, thus making them fascinating attractions in Delhi. Visit any of these parks and you can have lots of fun. Appu Ghar Delhi
Situated in Pragati Maidan, Appu Ghar is the first amusement park of India. Opened in 1984 with an area around 15.5 acres, this park has lately been expanded. A water park, OYSTERS is the latest addition in it. To satisfy your hunger, there are also some fast food centers inside the park.

Adventure Islands
Opened to public on November 14, 2006 this Adventure Islands amusement park is an enchanting destination for children as well as adults. Spread over an area of 62 acres, this park is Delhi’s first theme park. Enjoy around 20 different rides including freefall ride, merry-go-round and demolition derby. Besides entertainment there is also a retail destination namely Metro Mall in this park.

Children have a separate zone called Planet POGO that includes a Pogo Plaza for kids, a MAD theatre, H2O zone and HQ.

Children’s Park
Located near India Gate, Children’s Park is first of its kind in Delhi. To attract children, it houses number of swings and large well-maintained lawns with sitting facilities. In winter season, it makes the perfect picnic spot. Visit this park during nights when it gets illuminated and becomes one of the scenic zones of Delhi.

Fun N Food Village Delhi
Situated on the Old Delhi—Gurgaon Highway, Fun N Food Village is spread over an area of 10 acres. Well equipped with swings, this amusement park also boasts the largest wave pool in Delhi, the longest water slide in the country and the largest indoor snow park. Not only fun and entertainment, Fun N Food Village Delhi also promotes India’s culture and traditional arts and crafts. Along with a display of different artisans and craftsmen in the park you can also enjoy live performances by the local artists.

Entertainment City (E-City)
Located in NOIDA, sector 18 this E-City amusement park is the first amusement park in India that can be called truly international. Spread over an area of 145 acres, the park has around 30 rides which are mainly supplied by European manufacturers. Divided into three zones; kids, teenagers and families, each zone has its own attractions like rides, food courts, etc. A retail and entertainment complex named the Great India Place is situated inside this Entertainment City which also has 6-screen multiplex cinema, multiple theme park and Indoor entertainment area.
